Annamie Paul is a lawyer and public policy advocate who has worked and advised extensively on conflict prevention and climate policy, including at the International Criminal Court and Canada’s Mission to the European Union. She was the first Black person and first Jewish woman elected to lead a major federal party in Canada and is an alumna of the Echoing Green Foundation Fellowship and Action Canada Fellowship programs. Annamie is the founder of the Canadian Centre for Political Leadership, and co-founder of the 1834 Public Policy Fellowship. She holds a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa, is a Senior Fellow at the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights, and sits on the Boards of the 1834 Foundation and Baycrest Hospital
